About Kevin

Kevin Jumps is an Enterprise Architect with Oracle in the OCI Productivity Tools organization. Prior to joining Oracle, Kevin was a Staff Systems Engineer with Walmart in the Mergers and Acquisitions Technology organization and had 21 years of service with Walmart.

As a constant learner Kevin was initially attracted to the technology industries sense of wonder and constant rate of change. Kevin has earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University.

Kevin began his career with Walmart in 2001 as an hourly store associate in Terre Haute, IN before relocating to Bentonville, AR as a Systems Administrator in 2007. Since then, has gone on to hold positions in Walmart technology including Programmer, Engineer, Manager and Staff Systems Engineer.

Kevin’s last position with Walmart was with Walmart’s Merger and Acquisition Technology organization where he was responsible for leading technical efforts to integrate acquired brands systems through innovation and utilization of each brands unique technology stacks to implement effective enterprise technical solutions. Additionally, Kevin is engaged to provide technical expertise during the due diligence process for prospective acquisitions.

After 21 years of service with Walmart, Kevin joined Oracle as an Enterprise Experience Architect. As the Enterprise Experience Architect with OCI Productivity Tools organization is responsible for driving strategy and roadmap in creating a best-in-class collaboration and communications user experience. Responsible for designing and implementing a broad array of capabilities across the endpoint, messaging, mail, web/video conferencing, cloud, and on-premises telephony to serve more than 150,000 employees worldwide.

When not at work Kevin spends his time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. Kevin is a den leader and Committee Chairman with the Cub Scouts and coaches his son’s soccer team. Kevin has completed numerous half-marathons, running obstacle races, and mountain biking.
